Manho the Daddy’s blog for November.

Manho’s November blog.

How do, readers, another month past and ever so close to Christmas…..bloody cancelled.

So what’s happened in this last month, well both me and Piggy decided to go and get the woohoo flu at the beginning of the month, I thinks I may of caught it at work with one of my valued colleagues, the diseased son of a bitch, then passed onto Piggy. So we were both off for the beginning of November which was rather crap.

At the end of our isolation, my new motor scooter arrived, so I decided to get a bobber styled motorcycle as Piggy wouldn’t ride on the back of the sports bike I had, so I hunted for a nice either cruiser or bobber and found a Yamaha xv950 which had a lot of custom parts added and rather nice, and must admit rides really nice as well.

I took Piggy to work on the old motorcycle and realised the rear shocks needed adjusting so it was not as bouncy. So after taking her to work on it, I went to see the lads at the garage I used and they adjusted the shocks for free and they, I say they, it’s a family run business, father and son, both had a jolly ride on it and both thoroughly enjoyed it and was impressed.

So apart from having woohoo flu and obtaining a new motorcycle not much has happened, work then home, work then home…

Oh I bought Piggy a new fish tank as part of her Xmas present as she does rather like her fishes, so just ordered all her bits to start up with so she can set her tank up, then we can look at introducing some fishes, once we know the water is ready. So that will be exciting for her.

Also it’s her birthday in December so double treat with some new boots she likes…

I have ordered all presents for Master and Little Minx’s from me a Piggy so they will arrive at the beginning of December, then it’s the task of wrapping them…

Anyways, readers, not much more to say this month, all being well a little more of a blog next month as it’s Christmas and New Year, so until next month readers be safe….

Manho’s blog for October.

Hello readers, hope we’re all doing well, so what’s happened in the month of October, well really not a lot.

Oh hang on, we had to bloody isolate for fourteen days due to the child rudely getting the woohoo flu. So this happened on a Tuesday, the child woke up complaining of a headache. Piggy shrugged it off as you do, as he is 13 and probably didn’t want to go to school that day. So anyway, Piggy rang the school and explained that the child had this headache and the wonderful reception lady requested that he be taken for a COVID test.

It’s a bloody headache, no temperature, no continuous coughing, or any signs of the woohoo, so Piggy booked him in for a test that morning.

That day, whilst out booking tickets, I received a phone call from my boss, who in his words whilst I was driving said….you need to go home, that was it. Nothing else bar that. So my mind raced and a few seconds later he then chooses to tell me that my child had to go for a test, so he didn’t want me in the office. So I went back, dropped the work car off outside our office, then went home.

Wednesday morning Piggy called me from her pit, as now we had to isolate until we got the results back and hold in behold the child was positive!!!!!

How the bugger was he positive, he went to school then came straight home, didn’t hang about with any one bar his very few select friends in school.

Bugger, I thought, that’s me and Piggy off for two weeks and what a boring two weeks it was. I’ve never watched so much crap TV in my life, honestly, I couldn’t wait to get back to work. Not that I didn’t enjoy spending time with Piggy or the child, who incidentally, you would not of been aware he had COVID to look at him but two weeks house bound.

Also this month Piggy has permitted me a new motor scooter, which I’m in the process of sorting. However, the old Boris Johnson has just announced that we are all to go into a lockdown from the 5th of November.

Bugger, but this was inevitable I think, so anyway until next month I will let you all know how the motor scooter goes along and how we are doing back into lockdown again……

My blog for September.

How can each month pass by so boringly?

COVID is really getting on my nerves, I feel like part of me is missing, so desperate to touch Daddy and DiDi, it’s been months since we last went to their house and spend the night together and now, according to the new law, we will not be seeing them for the next few months at all. It will be back to having a quick conversation over the garden fence.

Obviously, I am not alone in feeling COVID is getting on my last nerve. Since February, my life has been going to Tesco to food shop for us, my folks, and my inlaws. Drop off the shopping then back home. I’m becoming much more cautious, I wear a mask in the car now, nevermind when I’m in the shops.

It’s infuriating at the supermarket, when people are in the queue to disinfect the trolley we are using, then put antibacterial gel on our hands, yet some people just bypass both, walk straight in, who knows what they then touch. Plus some idiots still don’t wear masks even though it’s the law.

Anyway, as I mentioned in my last blog, I’ve been doing these walking challenges and I’m now on my 4th. Now I choose the medal I like first, then whatever the walk is, I will do. The one for September was 10.1 miles, 16.2 km. I reckoned it would probably be over a month before I finished it, but I smashed it. I started on Sept 1, I finished it Sept 28. I was so chuffed, this was a HUGE accomplishment for me. I’ve had a few walking goals I had been trying to do, (walking to different parts of town, around different blocks, seeing different places), don’t forget I’ve not walked like this for over 8 years. Even when I damaged my back, I would try to walk and fight against the pain, but now, my meds are helping with the pain, I’m finally seeing a loss on the scales, and losing weight gradually, so my walk, though still very very slow, is becoming a little easier. Some days I’m done in after it, there’s no way I can do anything else for the rest of the day, so I think those walks were too long. I’m amazed how much I am enjoying it, still listening to my Nashville soundtracks, doubt that will ever change. I did one long walk that was really too long, stupid of me to try. My thoughts were, I used to manage this walk with our dogs, years ago, but I got ¾ through it before I began thinking I can’t do it, I’m going to have to take a shortcut, but stupidly my sensible head was gone, so I pushed and pushed and continued. When I got home, oh boy my back, my hips were killing and I was like this for 3 days. So I cannot do that again and I should know better. I am now aiming for some Christmas medals, the one I’m doing now is called Shelf to 5 km, a cheeky elf medal, there were 2 varieties, elf with a blue background or an elf with a clear glittery background, or you can do the walk twice or buy them both. I bought them both mainly because there are another 3 Christmas medals I’d like to achieve before the end of the year. I just have to wear my big girl panties and go for walks in all weather. It won’t do me any harm having a walk whilst it’s raining.

My biggest walking challenge had to be me walking to the local Mercedes dealership, okay it’s only a 0.22 km, 0.14 mile walk, it was a walk I did regularly and I was determined to do it. I finally did it on Tuesday. I knew I was grinning like a Cheshire cat. The first person I wanted to tell was Miss Adira, only because we had chatted about this a few times. I took a selfie to show the gang and the best thing was I wasn’t sore after it. Master said he was really proud of me doing this walk and doing that challenge in less than a month. I think we both thought it would take much longer to complete and I know he worries about my back as he knows I can push myself far too much, to the point I’m in agony for weeks and can’t do anything.

Anyway, what else has happened…our poor kittykat had to have an operation last week, it’s her first operation and at 131/2 yrs old, that’s pretty good. But she had an “old age” lump growing on the side of her back leg. Last year it was infected, that’s when the vet said it was “an old age lump.” Then typically when the main lockdown happened in March, it became infected twice but I managed to clear it as we couldn’t get an appointment at the vets. But this time it looked nasty, so we went and as we suspected, the vet said it needs to come off. The next day after a fight getting her in the catbox, I left her with the vet. Picking her up about 3pm, leave her in for the next week or so, bring her back on Tuesday to take the dressing off, the nurse told me. As I had asked, she had a very nice pink dressing on. We had to buy a new litter tray and litter because we didn’t own one, she’s never used them. Thankfully for 2 days, she was just wanting to sleep. But the following day, we can safely say she was not happy, she wanted to go out. So putting a dog sock over her dressing, we let her go. Now I know this was against recommendation, but we know our kittykat, she will feel better going out for half an hour, then back inside to go to sleep. On her final check-up, she needed to wear a cone to stop her from touching it and told do not let her out for 2 weeks. OMG. Yeh, the cone lasted 10 minutes, we let her out, she came in a bit later looking happy and so far, she is doing great. Now I know some may say we shudda followed what the vet said but we’ve had many pets and we can tell what is best for it. But we are watching her wound daily so if I think we’ve gone wrong, she will be back at the vets.

Now the other big, huge thing to tell you is Master and I are now the proud owners of a white van. Why is that so interesting, you may ask, well we are converting it into a campervan. Literally pulling everything out, down to the shell and starting from the beginning. We have never done anything like this before. Master is going through his mid-life crisis still and his need / love for speed is becoming worse. Getting fed up with speeding cameras, police on the road, he discovered there were no speed restrictions on the water. So my non-swimming partner decides he wants a jetski. He did a day of training, using a jetski and passed the test. So all his kit cars sold, we bought a van to convert, ordered a brand new 2021 jetski which will arrive just before Christmas, and ordered a little scooter to put on a bike rack. This way, if we are parked for the day or night and realize we have forgotten something, rather than having to store everything away in the camper to drive to the shops, he can pop on the scooter and go. So this a brand new scooter arrives next week.

We are hoping to have our first night away in the camper by Spring next year, maybe we can get a day trip in it before Christmas. Master has watched countless hours on YouTube about how to do this and that, plus I am even getting to use mechanical, scary tools !! Something Daddy was slightly worried about, as he thought I may end up cutting a finger off or something like that.

I must say I never thought at 51, I would be doing this, but I am having so much fun and enjoying working side by side with Master. Though he does enjoy watching my chaotic way of working but I think this is improving slightly.

When we were putting the soundproofing in, Master did say, when we put the harnesses on the ceiling, to make a St Andrews Cross, no one will hear a thing. Plus put harnesses where the bed will be, so I can be tied to the bed. Not sure if this will happen, but the idea is rather fun and exciting.

So I suppose even though I said it was a bit of a boring month, reading this, I’ve done quite a bit. Anyway, let’s see what happens in October. Catch up later girls and boys.

Some selfies whilst dying my hair plum colour.

Think someone wants to give my ass a spanking.
Yes please Master
Spank me. Squeeze my ass. Then spank me more.

Manho the Daddy’s blog for July

Manho the Daddy July or maybe August’s blog….

So me avid readers, another Covid fun packed month has past and hopefully this month there will be a little more context in this month’s blog than last month’s as it was commented it was rather, erm, shall we say short

So in the month of July what oh what has been happening in Manho’s world, working would be at the front of everything just a carrying on regardless in that area of my life.

Now it was Masters birthday this month and his Piggy had a wish list from Amazon sent to her for what he would like, so at the beginning of the month we ordered a few items he wanted from his list. The day after his 111th birthday we went to see him and my Little Minxs with his presents and Piggy did him a sweetie box as well, which he very much appreciated. Master cooked us burgers and sausages which were amazing, we socially kept our distance when we were there but it was really nice to see our other family and give Master his presents and just spend time with them both.

Now me and Piggy had a couple of holidays booked this month the first of which was with Master and Little Minxs, we were to be going to Pevours farm which is a naturist farm down in Essex, that was cancelled due to the pending doom and gloom of this bloody woohoo flu and the second week was away was with Piggy’s Mum and Dad down in the west country somewhere, in a Haven campsite and that was cancelled due to Dad still self-isolating, so the first week we cancelled the holidays at work and will reuse them later within the year, the second week we took off and booked a couple of days away at the beginning of the week to a AirB&B, it was a shared property with the owners and basically you had one part of the house and the kitchen was shared use, really nice house, had a hot tub so the child was happy, nice location, but would I do this AirB&B again, in one word Nope, hard to relax and be yourself when the owners of the property live in the same house. Don’t get me wrong they were really nice, however, I personally could not relax fully and fully enjoy myself. Piggy on the other hand enjoyed herself and would do it again. Now at the end of the week I had arranged with a friend of mine to go away for a couple of nights tenting with the motorbikes, so he arranged to look at a couple of campsites in the Lake District and bugger me, we couldn’t get a pitch due to being fully booked until the end of August so that buggered up that plan, ( Little Minxs explained if you have bathroom facilities of your own, you could go to campsites, but tents/caravans with no toilet or washing up facilities were not allowed as all shared toilet blocks/sinks were closed. ) So I then thought I would go out on a limb and ask Little Minxs if we could come down and spend the afternoon with both of them properly and not just a couple of hours like on Masters birthday, so Little Minxs spoke with Master who had to check if he had any plans and hadn’t, due to the weather that was supposed to be raining all weekend. So he said we could come and see them, so me and Piggy stopped off a the sweetie shop near us and bought both Master and Little Minxs some sweeties, Master likes his sherbet, so we picked him a few tubs of sherbet and Little Minxs wanted some aniseed twists and some cinder toffee, which I got. So with the sweeties bought, we made our way to theirs and got there just after 2pm.

Now on the visit it was a little different, although distancing was in place still, it was nice to be able to sit on the couch with Little Minxs and be a little closer to her. We had a little, just a little bit of hand touching, now I know Little Minxs has made comment on Mr Johnson  and him publicly announcing that people who are in a polyamorous or BDSM relationship can go back to normal, although I am sure I have read that he said everything should be back to some sort of normality by Christmas, although he did not say which year, however as I have said to Little Minxs and Piggy, we would never ever risk either Master, Little Minxs or their sons health by coming seeing them if we did not feel so good or had any inclination that we may have this bloody Covid-19 symptoms and it is pretty much a common sense approach with regards this as this is not going away any time soon.

We stayed at Masters and Little Minxs house all afternoon and watched a film,  which was crap if I’m honest, although Master enjoyed it as it had Tommy Lee Jones in it and he has not done a bad film, bar this one, it was rubbish, we had dinner, a  rather nice Chinese, woohoo flu not included and all in all had a really good afternoon.

Now I am writing my blog on a Sunday just before I go back into work tomorrow and just after me having a nice 3.3 mile walk. Walking? I hear you ask! In truth I need to lose some weight, I weighed myself a couple of weeks ago and was shocked to see my weight, 15st, I was horrified as this was the heaviest I have ever been and I am not happy with myself at all, I need to do something about it quickly, so both me and Piggy had been speaking over a few days and have seen challenges you can do from the interweb, some small challenges, so there is one which is the channel crossing, in which it is twenty one mile distance and this could be done by either walking, running, swimming or cycling and I logged into their app, through a third party app, so I decided to try it out today though map my walk and take the dog with me, so it took me one hour twenty minutes I think to do 3.3 miles which was a nice pleasant walk, although I needed a pee so I had to take a slight detour and wee in some bushes.

So I got back home after the walk and realised the trainers I had found in the wardrobe where not suitable for walking at all, so I am going to need to invest in some new trainers. Now the other reason I tried this, is I have been having a lot of issues with my left big toe, where is swells up really bad and becomes unbearably painful, this is down to gout and through my ignorance I hadn’t taken my medication to prevent an attack for years and just over a month ago, I had a bad attack, so called the doctors to restart my medication, I then had to go for a blood test to make sure everything was ok and knew that my uric levels would be high but with the medication this should reduce within a couple of weeks. Now a month later I am still having a lot of trouble with the toe to which I called the doctors again and explained the issues I was having and he suggested for me to have an X ray, as the medication I am taking should be in my system and be working, so there could be a underlying issue with that joint, when the results come through, I will let you know and I will keep you updated with the progression of the weight loss and walking I am going to undertake.

Now one last thing and this is to my beautiful Little Minxs, and it is simply Daddy is really sorry for upsetting you earlier this month with calling you ginger, I know you don’t like it and even when Daddy is teasing you, I had never intentionally meant to upset you and make you angry and I promise I will never ever call you or anyone that again I promise,  and I Love you loads……I am sorry x.x.x.x.x

Until next month reader……Bye bye.

Meeting the family today.

Second meet this afternoon with Daddy, Miss Adira and family.

With not seeing our family since early Feb due to Miss Adira hurting her shoulder and then the dreaded Covid. We finally met last week for a few hours, inside the house, for Master’s birthday, it made his birthday that much nicer and we were having dinner together, I’d say we cooked burgers and hotdogs but really that meant, Master did the cooking as we want them edible, and I got the plates out etc. The 4 of us should have had our naturists holiday that week, but it was cancelled. Then this week, Daddy and Miss Adira should have had their family holiday with C and grandparents, but that was cancelled.

So as Daddy has today off for once, they said let’s come over for a few hours, with C and BlueBlue.

Trying to not be as OCD over this virus, I’m more comfy having visitors, usually C goes up to our room, so he has peace and he can either watch our tv or watch YouTube on his phone. But he’s happy doing that. Last week he stayed downstairs, but this week we said for God’s sake, at some point we need to start our lives again so this is the start.C can have our room to watch his stuff.

We would love to be able to play, kiss, just cuddle, but that’s still a No No. But I can’t imagine our Boris Johnson announcing, to the country, for all you polygamists, swingers, BDSM lovers, lovers of any kind who do not live in your household, you may now play without restrictions, no safe distancing needed and you can play without your masks. I can’t really see him saying that. But I think we will just have to wait, see how the virus is going, if it begins to spread or finally die off for now. Be sensible in ourselves, so if one of us is feeling unusually unwell, then we will have to keep to safe distancing.

But it’s so hard seeing each other when we are all desperate to play. Both myself and Miss Adira are in need of a mega release, with spankings, fudging, and multi, multi orgasms. LOL. I know Daddy can’t wait to get his hands on a paddle with my butt out for him and I’m pretty sure DiDi will feel the same, though maybe not another 4 hour spanking session, as her shoulder is still giving her problems, mainly due to the fact everything shut down just after our play day together so she hasn’t really been properly checked out yet.

But looking forward to a lovely afternoon/evening, sitting seperately, but at least we will be together still. Having a takeaway delivered, and I think Daddy is bringing me some sweeties as a treat.

I’m sure we are not alone in wondering when is it safe to meet with your Dom/Domme or with your lover, so I know we are not the only ones having these issues, but fingers crossed life continues to start looking better and we do not get this second wave. Which is my biggest worry.

Things must be looking better coz I’ve shaved and put some makeup on today. Another way in which I am trying to get life back to how it was. Next stage will be healthy eating, but Master and I are in the getting mentally prepared stage, as we like to call it. Where we spend a month contemplating dieting and then deciding if we can really be bothered or not. But we both know we should do really, it’s just hard work, and we like our goodies too much.

Here’s to the world slowly getting things going, improving, safer, wearing our masks when we go out is no hardship really compared to the alternatives.

Miss Adira’s blog for April.

Piggies Blog for the Lockdown

Well what’s been happening since my last blog. All I can say is the world has gone crazy..queuing to get your weekly shopping, children can’t go to school, can’t travel to see friends or family and should only leave the house for essentials.  Therefore life has pretty much come to a halt.

When everything first went tits up, I was originally still in work but I was only working 2 to 3 days a week so I wondered what I could do with all this new free time. We’ve been in our house now for around 6 years and since moving in, I wanted to do something with both the front garden and back garden, perfect opportunity I thought to start to do some work and beginning this little task. Well it was a good idea, only managed a week on these short shifts before I was called back into work for days and full shift. Work has now slowed down but not stopped.

What have I been doing, I thought I would start with something easy as I wanted to grow things from seed, so far I’ve tried to grow some herbs, tomatoes and flowers. Until today, I was having no luck. I went into my little greenhouse to check on my seedlings, and three have begun to sprout. I checked which pot it was, and it was the sun flowers that I had planted, so it would appear that I could grow some things. The trouble is, can I keep them growing and see them through to being an actual Sunflower.

The rest of the things that I have grown have not been so lucky, no herbs, no flowers. I think I drowned them, so I have planted some more herbs to see if I can have better luck, I will keep you posted on my progress and whether or not I have better luck the second time around.

I have made some planters for the front and back garden, in these planters I have planted various trees, shrubs and flowers. Currently these are doing well, my plan with these is to let them establish within the planters and then to ask Sir to build, well I say ask, I actually mean, remind Sir that he said that he would build me some bigger planters for the back garden. There are other things that I want, like a potting table, bigger greenhouse thing, BBQ area an a fire pit to name but a few. Now these maybe grand ideas seeing as myself and hubby are not very creative or good with our hands, well in a creative building kinda way anyway. So I’ll just have to see what everything looks like this time next year, or may be sooner if we don’t get any type of freedom soon…

Take care everyone and I’ll see you all next month

April’s blog from Daddy.

Manho belated blog for April…

Well again, I am a little late with April’s blog, can’t really blame the woohoo flu, as to be honest I have had the time to write it, however, due to the shite in what is happening in the world at this moment in time, I just couldn’t think of anything to write about.

So Little Minx’s had reminded me at the beginning of May, regarding my blog and I had explained that I could not think of anything to write, as we have been on lockdown for all of April and I’ve pretty much done nothing, bar go into work, as I and Piggy are classed as key workers and unfortunately our jobs cannot be done from home. Now again Little Minx’s had passed comment this morning in front of Master, asking if I had done my blog. Knowing full well that I hadn’t, so Master piped up saying no Blogs from Manho or Piggy and subsequently set us both a punishment for lateness of blogs and we have to pick each other’s punishment, so that’s me screwed as Piggy can be quite evils.

So I am here, now writing a brief blog on a Friday morning on the 8th May at 0900 in the kitchen, listening to music and pondering on what to put, the only interesting thing I did in April was buy a new Motorcycle, much to the disgust of Little Minx’s, as she has not wanted me to obtain another motorcycle. However, the biker in me was pinning for a new motorcycle and I was trolling the old inter web and had seen a few in which they would deliver the bike to my door, now the issue is not being able to see the motorcycle and be able to test ride it as well, so pretty much sold as seen with potentially a lot of underlying issues, which is not what I wanted at all, so back onto the inter web and just had a look see at a bike shop which was two minutes from where I lived, just to see what he had in stock and noticed he had a very nice Honda VTR1000. Now I really like these bikes, a sporty seating position but not as aggressive. Little Minx’s was worried, as I have issues with my fingers and wrist when riding the last bike, so I was looking for a bike which would be comfortable to ride long distances with, so I rang the shop up as they were still doing MOT and servicing and they said if I went down they would bring it out and let me look. So I went down and as they had said, it was out of the front, so I had a look, started her up and sat on her and oooo I like this I thought. Now it was my mission to convince Piggy as she wanted me to get a cruiser style bike as she really enjoys riding on the back of that style of bike but I did really like this bike, so I rang Piggy up, who was at work and she said she wanted to see it first. So I said ok, picked Piggy up from work drove to the shop and when she saw the bike I could tell she was not impressed in any shape or form, ”It’s no different from the other bike,” she said, “Yes it is, it’s bigger for a start and comfortable to sit on,” I told her. She was not impressed at all and pretty much said do what you want. So this man in me put the deposit down on it and said I would collect the bike on Friday, in 2 days’ time. We got home and Piggy was in a slight bad mood, saying she would not get on the back of the bike as she did not like riding on that style of bikes. Later in the evening she had calmed down and was talking more and I know for her it wasn’t her cup of tea, however I’m riding the bike and felt very comfortable on it and riding it is brilliant, just snuggled into it and away we go and absolutely no issues with hands, or wrist at all…bonus.

Now I need to apologise to Master for this late blog and promise Mays blog will be sent without any reminders, promise…

Daddy’s story, Rayanna, the very naughty mouse.

Rayanna, the very naughty mouse. Chapter 1.

Rayanna the littlest mouse lived at the bottom of a long, grassland, with her Pappa, Mamma, 6 sisters and 8 brothers. Plus lots of other family lived around them too. There were giant and little humans that also came to this grassland, she had spotted them going into this huge stone mountain, Pappa forbade anyone going near it, saying it was very dangerous, but Rayanna was a naughty mouse and she had followed them and watched, many times. As she was the littlest mouse, aged 14, she got up to more mischief, Mamma said “You are the naughtiest, baddest mousie I have ever brought up.” Rayanna thought she was just the bravest, no one else had come close to the mountain.

One day when Rayanna was investigating the grassland, this giant suddenly spotted her and came very close to her. Rayanna stopped, she felt her heart pounding, she was really scared. The giant was hairy with a tail, it looked similar to her, but its hair was longer and had a big head. This head came closer and closer to her, its big black nose sniffed her. It’s sniff so strong she felt her hairs move on her body. As it came closer, Rayanna took this opportunity to dash through the giant flowers, she ran so fast in between the flowers and grassland, hopping into the mousehole to her home. Stopping to get her breath back she turned around and peeked through the mousehole again, she saw no sign of any of the giants that came into the grassland.

“Rayanna what are you up to ?” Pappa said, “Why are you so out of breath ? Have you been into the grassland ?”
Rayanna lowered her head, shaking it slowly, but Pappa bustled towards her, “Rayanna have you been watching the giants ?”
“Pappa, it wasn’t the giant humans, it was a giant that looked like us, only its hair was longer, scruffier, not smooth and silky like ours, it came close to me Pappa, its nose tried to sniff me but I ran away. What was it Pappa ?” Rayanna asked.

“Rayanna, what have I told you ? You naughty girl. That was one of the giant human friends called bowwow’s, they live in the mountain too. There are 2 of these giant bowwow’s, you do not go near them. There’s also a grimalkin, you must never go near it, do you hear me Rayanna. NEVER. Now go to your hollow, I will deal with you later. GO Rayanna.” Pappa shouted, so Rayanna, turned around and scurried away but stopped when she turned into the shaft that led to her hollow. “Rayanna I know you are still there, get into your cot and don’t move. Now.” Pappa shouted.

Rayanna huffed and pouted, she scurried down the dark shaft into her hollow and climbed into her cot. She sat up, sulking, grabbing her tail, she sucked her paw, Pappa spoils everything but she’s never seen this grimalkin he mentioned, Rayanna wondered what on earth it was but she intended on finding out.

Rayanna may think she is the bravest mouse ever, but really she was very naive and just very naughty, she thought Pappa was just telling a tale to scare her.

Rayanna stayed in her cot for a few minutes, her Pappa hadn’t come to see her so she scurried through the shafts before finding the back entrance. She stopped still, listening, looking before she scurried through the giant flowers and straight across the grassland, creeping slowly, her nose twitching, getting every sense and smell. Suddenly a black cloud went over her, a scared shiver went through her body, as this black giant sprang up and nearly pounded on her. Something shoved her out of the way, and she ended up rolling through the giant flower bed. Rayanna came to a stop and turned to see this big black giant trying to catch her Pappa.

“RAYANNA RUN.” Her Pappa shouted, as he ran in between the giant flowers, turning back, scurrying round and round. Just as Rayanna turned around she saw this black giant leap up and land on her Pappa.
“Mamma, quick, a giant has Pappa.” Rayanna shouted going into their hollow. Quick as a flash Mamma and and her Uncles scurried out and saw the grimalkin. It was toying with her Pappa, big claws swiping at him, Rayanna heard him squeak, it was a horrible sound. They needed to do something quickly.

Rayanna spotted a long stick thing, if they could push it over it might hit the giant. Rayanna shouted to some of her family, they followed more to keep her safe as she was the baby of the family.

They realised what Rayanna was going to do, so all the mice scurried up the wooden pole, getting ready to jump up and down, soon they felt the pole move and every mouse jumped away as the pole crashed down, right by the giant grimalkin.

The giant screeched terribly loud, jumping up really high and running away. Mamma reached Pappa first, he was dazed but unhurt. Quickly Pappa recovered enough for him and the family to scurry back to their hollow. Rayanna was the last mouse to reach the home.

“Rayanna are you okay ?” Pappa asked as soon as he saw her. She ran over giving her Pappa a huge hug, apologising for not listening and now she understood what dangers were outside.

“But you helped save me munchkin, I can’t thank you enough for being our naughty little mouse.” Pappa told him, hugging her tightly.

I broke a promise to Daddy, my punishment was to write a 1000 word story about breaking promises and disobeying orders. I hope this shows how sorry I am.

So April’s blog, what’s been going on.

Whilst the world is still in chaos, fighting this evil virus, us, the people are still trying to live as normally as possible. I will start by saying I hope you are all staying safe, keeping a safe distance from others, and following the guidelines set by the government from your country.

As for little old me, life has been pretty normal, other than Master working from home every day, not just Friday and our son being furlowed so he’s either asleep or stuck on his Xbox, coming down for food and drink.

As most businesses are closed, that also meant our dog groomer was unable to come and our Muffin Moo Moo, a Cavachon, her fur is more like a King Charles Cavalier’s fur and gets terribly matted whereas her brother Dave has fur more like a Bichon Frise, he looks like he has a perm. Never knotty. Anyway we’ve ended up buying a dog grooming kit, I’m gonna watch some YouTube videos helping me learn how to do it. In the meantime I’ve had to bath them twice so far and poor Muffi has had tight areas of matted fur. I’ve had to cut away, try to comb it away. Her skin looked sore but the vets are only taking emergency appointments, otherwise, I would have to take a photo of the sore area, then the vet would phone if I needed medication for her, I would then go to the vets, knock on the door where a bag of medication would be handed out through the door. Payment by card only. So I decided I just had to remove the matted areas as best as I could do. This took over 3 days as I didn’t want her sore everywhere. I’ve no idea if I’m going to be able to use these clippers but I’ve gotta try it.

One thing that has been awful, is my back. Without a dryer, I’m drying the laundry on an airer or the radiators, without a dishwasher, I’m having to wash the pots by hand. Now before anyone says well they are pretty standard chores, yes they are. Unless you have 6 degenerative discs, nerve damage, and a load of other medical issues. Doing just these chores are bad enough.

Now include doing the cleaning, brushing and mopping the floor, I’m refusing to hoover the stairs, one of the boys will have to do that. It’s reminded me why I now have a cleaner. Bathing the dogs was a killer so I had to get E to help as Master was working.

The boys are helping me, which I really appreciate, but I still find I try to do it all myself, especially as Master is still working and E doesn’t get up til around noon. I’d have the jobs done before then.

Then there’s the food shopping, I usually would do this by delivery, but it seems impossible to get one. I’m also doing shopping for the old folk, my parents and inlaws. My Mum has been classed as high risk so Dad is able to get an immediate shop delivered but sometimes he will need a few items, my inlaws somehow manage to get a delivery slot for a supermarket but I know they go online, frequently throughout the days to check the deliveries for any of our supermarkets. They have been lucky enough to actually get one. But they often need a few bits if I’m going. I must admit I couldn’t be bothered scouring the delivery slots until I got one.

One thing I’ve had to do this month is to use my disability for my own advantage, something I don’t like doing. But whenever I go to the shop, the queue is really long, and I knew I couldn’t stand in the queue for half an hour before getting to the shop. So as usual,  taking my walking stick with me as all the trolleys are kept inside the shop to keep them clean, I’ve asked if I can go straight in as I won’t be able to stand in the queue then go shopping.

Luckily I know most of the staff in Tesco, and they have seen me when I’ve seized up, unable to walk. They’ve seen me use the Motability scooter shoppers so they know I’m not lying just to get to the front of the queue.

Like I said I would never use my disability in this way normally. And I hate asking for help.

E has helped with the shopping, he will do ours, as it’s a bigger shop whilst I do the old folks shop. But pushing the trolley around is extremely painful at the moment, having lots of twinges, making my left leg feel numb and throbbing.

But all that is insignificant compared to what is happening in the world.

One thing I know for certain is I’m missing our extended family, Daddy, Miss Adira, their son C and all the crazy pets. Not seeing them since early February has been really difficult. It was Daddy’s Birthday yesterday, the gifts he wanted from me were from Amazon but the delivery was late so I didn’t get them until Friday, So I packed up mine and Master’s presents then Master arranged a collection for the big box to be posted, so at least Daddy will get his presents within the week.

Though I wasn’t happy with Daddy this month as he began talking about getting a motorbike again. He’d seen one he really liked, the price was good and he trusted the dealer who was selling it and next thing I know he’d organized a deal and was picking it up 2 days later. As you may tell I’m not a fan of motorbikes, think they are dangerous, too fast and just don’t really like them, plus I can’t ride with him but I know Daddy has really missed riding a bike. I felt guilty telling him I didn’t want him to get one but at the end of the day, he’s a grown-up, he doesn’t drive fast and he says he is a very careful driver. The main reason I really didn’t want him to get one is he has arthritis in both hands and wrists and when he had the old bike, he really struggled so I’m worried this may happen again. He says the positioning is different from the other bike so his wrists aren’t bent like they were so I guess I just have to trust him and hope it doesn’t happen again.

So all this in the last month, no doubt the following months will be very similar. This year has to be the one year we should forget but know full well we will never forget it. My Mum says “It’s a bit like me telling you about what it was like at the end of WW2, the ration books, helping each other, rebuilding their lives, by the time you have older grandchildren, you will tell be telling them about the virus that affected the entire world.”  This is very true and more poignant for Mum saying this as for once she’s remembered what is going on with this virus, as her dementia is getting worse. So hearing her say that really brought it home for me.

The end of 2019 and the start of 2020 have been bad years healthwise for Master, Miss Adira and myself, chest infections that refused to go away and Miss Adira damaging her shoulder. Never imagining what came next would affect every country in the world. So far we’ve been very very lucky that neither families have had the scare of this virus, keeping our old folk safe in lockdown our main concern. The numbers are dropping very very slowly in England, hopefully this won’t encourage people going out unnecessarily as we only need one person in that contagious, unknowing period to start it spreading once more. And maybe this is the time to reflect, to think about others not just about ourselves, make the world a better place. And hope we will all see an ending very very soon.

Stay safe fellow bloggers and dear readers xx
